Russia # 1 - national symbols

Russia is not a country that is associated with Asia but it is the largest state on this continent. In terms of population, it is ranked 9th.

Symbolism of colors on the flag of Russia:

• white - peace, purity, innocence and perfection,
• blue - faith, faithfulness and unchangenility,
• red - energy, strength and blood shed for the homeland.

The return of the two-headed eagle as Emblem of Russia embodies the continuity and indissolubility of the history of the state. Today's coat of arms is a new coat of arms, but it is components have a centuries-old tradition and reflect different stages of history.

Scepter and apple are symbols of tsarist power, just like crowns.

The chasing sign reflects the struggle between good and evil and the defense of the homeland.

Aleksandr Aleksandrow wrote the music of the anthem in 1938 to the "Song of the Bloshevik Party". Five years later, on

December 14, 1943, it was approved as the official anthem of the USSR.
